When Your Life is a Country Song…

So, you say your life is like a country song?  Your wife ran off with your best friend and they drove off in your new truck and they ran over your dog as they were speeding away.  Well, that sure sounds like a giant country hit song!  Since we are on the topic on country music, we will take a look at country star Gary Allan.  His hit song, Life Ain’t Always Beautiful pretty much sums up the theme of this website.

Gary Allan’s life story so far can pretty much be categorized as a country song.  He had humble beginnings in California where his mother always made music the vocal point of the family.  He got his first break as a young car salesman where he would leave his demo tape in the glove box of every car he sold.  A wealthy couple happen to stumble across Gary’s demo in their glove box.  When they realized that was his voice they heard on the tape, they cut him a check for $12,000 to launch his recording career.  The rest is history.

Gary has no doubt been a huge success in the country music world.  Most of his songs come from the sad and dark side of the country music world.  It’s hard to imagine a world famous country star only knows about the sad side of life, but Gary has had more than his fair share of challenges in his life.  Perhaps his biggest was when his wife committed suicide one night.  I can’t even imagine what that must be like to experience.  But, he has managed his way through it all.  Gary has written songs about it all:  Just Got Back From Hell and No Regrets.  Although he has recorded songs about that part of his life, he said the songs are too personal and he won’t sing those songs live in his concerts.

I encourage you to learn all you can about Gary Allan and see how he manages to move forward when his life at certain points were all Shot2Hell.

it up what I had written and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog.

I as well am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to everything.
Do you have any points for rookie blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.
